Course Description: 

This course equips criminal defense attorneys and public defenders with a master-class framework for postconviction and appellate advocacy, transforming trial records into compelling legal narratives. Derived from the Appellate Skills Academy, participants will gain practical tools to manage cases from initial client interviews through higher court review. Through focused instruction on sophisticated defense theories, strategic investigation beyond the record, and appellate storytelling, this training empowers practitioners to elevate their litigation skills and effectively advocate for their clients.
